GNYIPA (Greater New York Independent Publishers Association) offers personal support and promotional opportunities for small press publishers, self-published writers, people in the book arts (editors, designers, publicists), and people planning to write and publish books. GNYIPA helps sponsor group tables at book fairs, events and readings, as well as group efforts to help your work and career.

The Manly Art of Seduction
April 29, 7:30 to 10 p.m., at the LGBTCenter, 208 West 13th Street, in Manhattan
The Manly Art of Seduction Workshop is based on The Manly Art of Seduction by Perry Brass, led by Perry Brass and Jerry Kajpust, M.A., a workshop leader with years of experience in the field of human communications and development. The Manly Art of Seduction Workshop starts with a simple premise: you can connect with the deeper, inner you, and use that connection to meet other men, without fear or rejection, with the power to unlock your sense of valor, worth, and confidence. You’ll learn how to communicate in an authentic way that opens up doors to other men and solve conflicts that destroy many relationships before they get to happen. And you’ll meet other men who want to do the same thing.
Cost: $15 in advance, sign up at http://manlyartworkshop2.eventbrite.com. $20 at the door. For more information: firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com. Books will be available at the seminar for a special rate of $10.00 to attendees.
