CIP Data for Independent Publishers

An important feature that independent publishers and authors should consider including is a CIP Data Block (also known as: "Publisher's Cataloging-in-Publication Data"). The information contained in the CIP Data Block includes your book's ISBN number and several types of codes that are used by librarians for proper cataloging and shelving of books.
