Having trouble formatting your eBooks on all the different sites. I have a resource for you: Shelley Schadowsky at Goodlifeguide.com. She was wonderful! For a nominal fee of $35-50, she will format your book in a few days for Amazon, Kobo, Nook, Smashwords, etc. You'll get versions in PDF and ePub. So stop tearing your hair out and contact Ms. Schadowsky.

CIP Data for Independent Publishers

An important feature that independent publishers and authors should consider including is a CIP Data Block (also known as: "Publisher's Cataloging-in-Publication Data"). The information contained in the CIP Data Block includes your book's ISBN number and several types of codes that are used by librarians for proper cataloging and shelving of books. The inclusion of a CIP Data Block can help your book's chances of being purchased by library systems because the data block relieves librarians of the work involved in trying to determine what the book's genre is and where it should be shelved.
