Why is this the Age of Self Publishing?
Because today all books are to a great degree self published, since publishing a book is not simply printing it (or putting it on the Internet), but making a book into a publicly available item. So all authors today need to be involved in bringing their books to the public, whether marketing their books, promoting themselves, or making other decisions to keep their work alive in front of an audience.

So if you are thinking about writing a book, or simply love books and want to know more about the process of their creation, this panel will be of interest to you.
